A four day fun-filled camp working on scenes and commercials and finding out what it means to be on-set. Video-taping and playback are used throughout the camp to monitor the progress and provide understanding of how to work on camera for the young actors. On the Thursday day we do a final shoot and enjoy a pizza lunch provided by the studio before presenting playback to the parents and guests on the closing afternoon. Please bring a bag lunch Monday through Wednesday. Camps are supervised at all times.

Developed and taught by working actors and filmmakers, The Young Actors Conservatory encompasses technique and skills ranging from basics to final on-set production experience.
PROGRAM OUTLINES
Level 1: THE BASICS
Actors are introduced to the basics of acting technique, on-camera scene study, improvisation and audition essentials.
Level 2: GETTING THE JOB
(For students who have completed level 1, or by faculty invitation)

Showbiz Seminars include information on agents, casting directors, photos, resumes, advanced auditioning skills, on-set protocol, career goals, marketing and many more tools for developing a career as a professional actor.
