Developing the American Character - with Tony Alcantar
Instructor: Tony Alcantar
Much more than just an American Dialect class...
As far as the film and TV industry goes in Vancouver, it's an All-American world.
Because of that, actors without a proper knowledge of stereotypical American characteristics and speech will eliminate themselves from roles in American productions, sometimes as soon as they present themselves. As the adage goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression!
Tony recently coached Oscar winning actress HALLE BERRY and A-list star STELLAN SKARSGARD in the feature "Frankie & Alice". Simultaneously he was the dialect coach of series lead ELAINE CASSIDY in "Harper's Island" (CBS/Paramount).
